Collection: THCA BUDS

THCA buds are cannabis flowers that contain tetrahydrocannabinol acid (THCA), a cannabinoid that is not psychoactive in its raw state. THCA is the precursor to THC (the compound that gives cannabis its intoxicating effects) and is found naturally in fresh or dried cannabis flowers. When THCA is heated through smoking, vaping, or cooking, a process called decarboxylation occurs, which converts THCA to THC and activates its psychoactive effects. THCA buds are considered by many to be useful for therapeutic purposes, as THCA may have anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and pain-relieving properties without producing a “high” in its raw form.
