What is THCPO ?

THCPO , also known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabiforol, is a newly discovered cannabinoid found in small amounts in some marijuana strains and can be produced in laboratories by modifying legally produced CBD from hemp. This cannabinoid was discovered by Italian researchers in 2019 and has received increased attention for its potential potency compared to THC.

Legality in Sweden:

Currently, THCPO is not classified as an illegal substance in Sweden, according to the Public Health Agency. It is not considered an isoform of THC, and there is no regulation that makes it illegal.

Difference from HHC:

THCPO is a newly discovered cannabinoid and is believed to be approximately 30 times as potent as THC. It is distinct from HHC (hydrogenated delta-9 THC), which is considered to be slightly less potent than delta 9 THC.
